POPA CHUBBY

With « Popa Plays Hendrix », Popa Chubby is back with a tribute album to the legend and spirit of Jimi Hendrix. His participation to the Jimi Hendrix’s festival in Holland in 1998 had generated a lot of requests from the public for a show totally dedicated to Jimi’s music. The success of the following concerts lead to the recording of a three-disc album named “Electric Chubbyland”. With “Popa Plays Hendrix”, the king of the New York City Blues gives us his rendition of Jimi’s greatest hits along with some less well-known tracks he performed with his power trio band.
