What do we drink our beers - and soft drinks - in?

In order to reduce waste and protect the environment, the festival is providing reusable, returnable plastic cups. At the end of the evening, each returnable cup can be kept as a souvenir, taken back and refunded !

Prohibited items

The following items are strictly forbidden on the festival site : firearms, ammunition, luggage, megaphones, lasers, drones, folding seats (unless medically necessary), glass or plastic bottles and liquids, sharp objects, helmets, aerosol sprays, animals (except assistance dogs), umbrellas, cameras, Smartphone poles, gas bottles, exceptional chemical products, extremely flammable products, food (unless medically necessary), bulky bags (10L maximum), metal boxes, fireworks, firecrackers, distress flares, firelighters, tear gas, dummy guns. .

Security

Witness or victim, if you have a problem (harassment, assault), ask a member of the GES staff, at the infirmary or at a bar for ‘Angela’.
Infirmary: The Red Cross is on hand in case of problems at the festival. Find the site map here.
Hearing protection: ear plugs are available free of charge at the entrance, bars and merchandising.

What is the minimum age for admission to the festival?

Due to the higher-than-normal noise level, the minimum age for admission to the concerts is 5 years. Proof of age will be required at the door if in doubt.

To download your tickets again, go to our ticketing page. At the top of the purchase module, you will see the words: ‘Already ordered? Retrieve your tickets by clicking here’.

Then follow the instructions to receive your tickets by email.

Unfortunately, we are unable to refund your ticket, but you can re-sell it on our partner's website: Ticketswap.

What should I do if my tickets are in someone else's name?

The name on the ticket is for information only; no identity check will be carried out at the entrance for standard tickets*.

*Proof of identity may be required for :

children and students
Passes that can only be used by one and the same person.

METHODS OF PAYMENT:

Can I pay by credit card inside the festival?

There are no more vouchers on GES! Vouchers from previous years are no longer valid.

Cash in € and CHF is accepted at the festival bars. A bureau de change is available at the ticket office and in the village bar.

Shopkeepers accept € cash and bank cards.

Bank cards (from €1, including contactless) are accepted throughout the festival.
