GES story

Firstly, it’s the story of a group of friends passionate about music and guitars. One day, they make the somewhat crazy bet of bringing the world’s greatest guitarists and musicians to their home town. It’s in this spirit of friendship and mutual passion that a real community was born. In 2007, the GES family was born!

With each show, all unique and truly one-of-a-kind, GES brings together people from different cultural and musical backgrounds, yet united by the passion that connects them. A festival with a human scale of 5,000 people per night, where you can meet the world’s biggest artists, surrounded by the most energetic volunteers! Because yes, GES is above all a big family and we’re happy to welcome you.

Welcome to GES!

The site

On the festival site, enjoy yourself with the many food stalls, discover dream guitars and magical pedals, treat yourself to some merchandise for your souvenirs, and expect plenty of surprises! And most importantly, don’t forget to stop by the GES bar – they have a solution for every type of thirst!
